Lanterra: Riverborn is a free card game at getlanterra.com. This page explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. In short: we collect only what the game needs to work, we don't sell your data, and we don't run ads or ad trackers.
What we collect
- Launch list sign-ups. If you join the launch list, we keep the X handle or email you enter so we can tell you when things launch.
- Your game account. When you play, the game creates an account with a random ID (no name or email needed). We store your saved game (cards, decks, progress and settings) so it isn't lost.
- Your River name and stats. If you set a River name, it appears with your level, wins and card count on the public River Leaders board. If you play Battle Your Friends, your current deck and win/loss record can be seen by other players.
- Your email, if you link one. If you choose to link an email, we use it only to send sign-in codes so you can load your game on another device.
- On your device. The game saves a copy of your progress in your browser's local storage so it works offline. We don't use advertising cookies.
- Messages you send us. If you email [email protected], we keep the message so we can reply.
Who helps us run it
We use a few services to host the site and run the game. They process data only to provide their service to us:
- Cloudflare hosts the website and forwards email sent to our address.
- Supabase stores game accounts, saves, the leaderboard and launch sign-ups.
- Resend delivers sign-in code emails.
- Google Fonts and jsDelivr serve the fonts and a code library the site uses, so your browser connects to them when pages load.
Like any website, these services may see technical details such as your IP address and browser type when you visit.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent your personal information.
- We don't show ads or use ad tracking.
- We never ask for your wallet's recovery phrase or private keys, and the game doesn't need a wallet at all.
Your choices
- You can play without giving us an email.
- You can change your River name at any time in the game.
- To delete your account, saved game, leaderboard entry or launch sign-up, email [email protected] from the address you used (or tell us your River name) and we'll remove it.
- Clearing your browser's site data removes the copy saved on that device.
Children
Lanterra is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
